I’m headed overseas tomorrow. I have eight hours to burn in NYC, then ten hours to burn in Dublin before finally getting to sleep in London. I’ll be grading tests and taking tests on the flights, but don’t have to worry about my kiddos. What spots would you hit up? Pic of me in five day old clothes because Aercunnili gus lost my luggage for your time. Yes, I’m flexxing.

If you like donuts, go to doughn ut plant.
Kinda pricey but literally Best d onuts I’ve ever had. Place almost bankrupted me when I lived there.
They have a few locations now. Used to only accept cash, but they may take credit now.
There’s also sparks deli in queens. Used to get their BLT. Great bacon and it’ s piled on to the point that my jaw would be tired by the time I got half way through.
Also, most every roach coach in queens has decent empanadas. There was one in particular that went up and down 9th through 12th street in queens that had really good ones.
Or just hit up a random pizza place in Manhattan. Can't really go wrong if you go to one that's crowded. Better than any of the junk in Atlanta anyway

I’d say Temple Bar area in Dublin, though it’s been 10 years since I’ve been there.

I hit up Temple bar a couple years ago. Pretty touristy but still fun.

My wife is really into donuts. I might just eat a dirty water dog in Central Park and grab a bagel.

Yeah definitely touristy- I wasn’t there long enough to get beyond the typical touristy stuff.

I promise you that a hot dog from central park will be the absolute worst hotdog you’ve ever had.
There are some great bagel places though. Pretty much same rule applies as the pizzas. Go to a place that looks busy and you probably can’t go wrong

Oh I know. I grew up going to NYC every summer and hanging out. The taste of a shitty city dog is a cherished childhood memory.

I can't do the hot dogs. They're always so small and disappointing. But I love hotdogs, so it's too difficult to enjoy.
